We are, whole-heartedly committed to taking decisions that will benefit our planet. From waste management to energy consumption. We’ve come a long way but also recognise our journey is just beginning.

Green Energy Roadmap

Our aim? To be Carbon Neutral in our scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2040. We’ve already planned our the first phases of our journey in a Green Energy Roadmap. This will see that by 2026, we are totally self-sufficient in renewable energy production on-site.

Seeing The Light

LED lighting systems used 75% less energy than incandescent lighting, that’s a fact. So across site we have upgraded all systems to be LED.

Measuring Up

It’s hard to know where and what you can save, without knowing what you use. In 2020 we installed MeasureMyEnergy to find that out, and now it’s key in showing us where energy may be being wasted.

Waste Management

We're conscious that as such a large site, with thousands of visitors on a daily basis, the amount of waste we produce has a huge environmental impact. Managing waste for us is hugely important, and we're proud to be Zero To Landfill since 2015.

A Slice Of Sustainability

We’re tackling food waste head on. As an industry, hospitality is responsible for millions of tons of food waste. Our biodigester helps reduce (and soon eliminate) it totally from our site. The food is compressed, and turned into nutrients which are used for the soil on our site.

Single Use Plastics Suck

An absolute no brainer was to reduce our reliance on single-use plastics. The damage these cause to the environment and our oceans is terrible, and we’ve still got work to do, but have made huge progress in reducing our use of them.
