I joined Wyboston Lakes in April 2018 and currently serve as Chief Commercial Officer. As a board director, I lead the business and commercial development strategy, overseeing our conference & training venues, contracted space, and serviced offices. Prior to this, I worked with Compass Group across a portfolio of large residential conference venues. Before that, I was Head of Sales & Marketing at Yarnfield Park. I also spent nearly a decade with the NEC Group in a variety of roles, including Senior Account Director and Head of Conference Sales at The International Convention Centre. I am also proud to serve as a member of the Advisory Group for Venues of Excellence.

I have worked in the events industry for the past 18 years covering all areas from operations to event management and sales. It is 5 years since I joined the team at Wyboston Lakes as Business Development Manager. I am primarily responsible for our relationships with agents and also the association, professional services and automotive sectors. I love the variety that this offers, from going out on the road making new contacts to nurturing our relationships with our valued long-standing clients and agents.

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I joined Wyboston Lakes Resort in 2017 and have never looked back. Being part of this family run business truly feels like coming home. In my role, I focus on developing new business across a variety of sectors, helping clients discover how our unique resort can meet their conference, meeting, and event needs. Every day brings new opportunities to connect with people and build lasting relationships; it’s one of the many reasons I love what I do. I’ve been part of the hospitality sector since 2017, beginning my career in corporate golf sales. It wasn’t long before I found my way into the exciting world of meetings and events, where I’ve truly found my passion. I bring strong experience in Business Development, having previously worked in a similar role at another respected venue. Building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and helping clients bring their event visions to life are what drive me in my role. I joined Wyboston Lakes in June 2025 and have loved being part of a forward-thinking and supportive team. Without a doubt, my favourite part of the job is being out and about—attending industry events and networking with peers across the sector. It’s where I thrive and where the most meaningful connections are made. Outside of work, I’m a proud father and husband. I’m also a passionate football fan and a season ticket holder at my beloved Wrexham FC!

My career in the hospitality industry began 18 years ago at Park Inn Heathrow, and during my time I was part of the pre-opening team for the landmark hotel, Hilton Terminal 5. I have always dealt with large events up to 1170, with a variety of major corporate companies including IBM, Astellas and more. I get great self satisfaction with planning clients events and seeing them through to the end with successful results.

I have lots of interests and when my two beautiful children allow me to, I enjoy playing Pokémon Go in my spare time, PS I also love Buffy (The Vampire Slayer)!

I fell into the hospitality industry through my parents in the late 90’s and never looked back. Starting out as a silver service waiter for Hilton before I completed a 5-year hotel graduate program through Marriott Hotels. Shortly after completing that I moved abroad for 8 years to work for Princess Cruises where I progressed up to the role of Snr Administration Officer. In 2012 I came back to the UK and started working for Wyboston Lakes. I have overseen the development of the two conference centres as Director of Operations for the past 3 years. In 2019 I also joined IACC’s European board.

After spending 26 years with Wyboston Lakes I have a wealth of knowledge across both of our training & event venues. I have worked in all the restaurants, from our Mediterranean inspired Olive Restaurant to our Cricket Kitchen at The Willows with its modern style restaurant & plentiful themed dinner evenings. A favourite challenge of mine is to create menus for bespoke events with specific requirements these include the most up to date trends and fulfil dietary challenges that our guests may face. Successfully providing guests with varied worldwide cuisine & creating eating experiences.

After leaving university I worked at Jurys Inn Hotels across the UK, progressing to Operations Manager, before developing my knowledge further with other brands. I’ve been with Wyboston Lakes since December 2018, starting as Operations Manager before progressing to the role of Hotel Manager in our Waterfront Hotel, Spa and Golf in May 2022. Coming from a family that have worked in the hospitality and leisure industry it is always an area that I have been passionate about. I started working as a waitress in a hotel whilst getting my degree and when graduated, was lucky enough to work abroad for a number of years across different regions of Europe. When coming home I worked my way up to Front of House Manager for an independent hotel in an amazing Grade 2 listed building in Stafford. After moving south I stuck with the leisure industry and developed my way up to Head of Food and Beverage. I joined the Wyboston family in March 2022 and have not looked back since. I could not be happier to work with such a brilliant team.
