At Wyboston Lakes Resort we offer many different types of careers. From gardening staff, bar managers to conference and banqueting managers. This week we take a look at Rob Hedges day to day career life at Wyboston Lakes.
Typical Day:
Robert will begin his shift one hour before he’s due to start. This is to ensure he has enough time to check rooms that are in use that day. He believes this is especially important on busy days!
As part of his checks, Robert makes sure the Restaurant is ready. He always checks in with Reception staff to find out if there were any issues the previous night. Then after that, he will check in with the rest of his team
Robert performs a meet and greet service for every client, making them aware of everything. Most notably this includes, fire procedures and he’ll also discuss anything else the client requires. During the day Robert will check on clients and delegates, this allows him to be sure they are happy. It also is a great opportunity to be social with the guests. Robert is very much hands on, and takes great pride in his career.
