    Situated on the borders of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire, at the edge of the historic market town of St. Neots, Wyboston Lakes is a unique, innovative destination - with a spacious, 350 acre rural setting, amongst lakes and alongside the banks of the River Great Ouse.

    Customers from far and wide are increasingly attracted to our diverse but complementary range of services - a quality, affordable, flexible, service driven business and leisure complex.

    Venues .. over 5,500m² of space across 3 unique centres, offering 76 conference, training, events, meeting and private dining space, with flexible layouts.
     
    Waterfront Restaurant and Bar ... working to AA rosette standards, guests can choose from a variety of international cuisines, an extensive wine list, combined with a classically designed space.
     
    The Wyboston Lakes Hotel ... with 103 en-suite bedrooms offering the latest facilities, Wyboston Lakes Hotel is more than just rooms. Equipped with modern commodities, one will experience friendly staff, a comfortable stay, superb food and great value for money.
     
    Golf ... our 18 hole, 70 par golf course is perfect for the complete novice to the experienced golfer. With golf Professionals at hand to offer one-to-one lessons or a 14 bay all weather, flood-lit driving range to practice.
     
    Harpers ... a work-out in the group exercise studio or gym, featuring the latest equipment, or a chill out, in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

  • History ..
    • 1983 : The 350 acre Wyboston Lakes site with golf course was purchased by Potton Developments Ltd.
    • 1985 : The golf course was enhanced by the construction of a new clubhouse and shop - a leading 'pay and play' golf course.
    • 1986 : Construction of 'The Birches' - a 38 bedroom hotel, using the volumetric construction method.
    • 1990 : The birth of the Wyboston Knowledge and Leisure Village with the completion of the construction of The Willows.
    • 1995 : Waterfront Centre, a 103 bedroom residential conference and training centre, was built as an open market centre.
    • 1997 : Health and leisure club completed and open for Wyboston delegates and public membership.
    • 1998 : The Birches Hotel redeveloped and incorporated into a 120 bedroom residential conference and training centre [Robinson Executive Centre]
    • 2000 : Potton House, the first serviced offices completed and used by the family business as the head office.
    • 2003 : Potton Developments Ltd name changed to Wyboston Lakes Ltd.
    • 2004 : Additional serviced offices completed using their own innovative Pavilion construction system. Waterfront Restaurant/Bar opened.
    • 2005 : The 'Knowledge Centre' completed - a totally new concept in serviced offices.
    • 2007 : Investment of more than £30 million in Wyboston Lakes - the largest, single site, privately owned conference centre in northern Europe.
    • 2010 : Re-modelled the Waterfront Conference and Training Centre to reflect the change
      to a Hotel.
    • 2011 : Spring of 2011 approximately 14 acres of prime development land for B1/R&D/Innovation Centre was purchased from EEDA. This site complements our existing land and fronts the A428. Investment in the Golf course with the continual update and improvement of the Tees, greens and general course presentation.

     

  • Membership, accreditations and awards ..

    We pride ourselves on surpassing our clients' expectations and take great pleasure in providing a service that is second to none. Therefore we have membership and accreditation with many leading bodies, for example, Conference Centres of Excellence (CCE), Hospitality Assured and The Meeting Industry Association (MIA).

    Standards are important to us. We have been assessed and recognised by the AA, via our work with the East of England Tourist Board. We have gained an AA classification and become an associate member.
