Food and Wine Lovers' Heaven at Wyboston Lakes!

Food and wine lovers are in for a treat at Wyboston Lakes Hotel, which is hosting a Wine & Dine evening on Friday 11th March.

 

The event provides an opportunity to indulge in some exquisite food and fine wines whilst being entertained in a salubrious lakeside setting. Guests will also be treated to an informative talk on fine Bordeaux wines by expert Ian Stubbings from the House of Townend Wine Merchants.

 

Alasdair Swan, General Manager at Wyboston Lakes, said:  "If you are a lover of good food and quality wines, then this is a night not to be missed!  During the evening, Ian will be sharing his extensive knowledge of wines, and guests will be able to sample some of the finest Bordeaux wines on the market."  

 

Executive Chef Fergus Martin has created a succulent four-course menu for the evening - wild mushrooms à la forestière with baby leaves and shallot vinaigrette for the starter, followed by lemon sorbet to cleanse the palate.  The main dish will consist of roasted duck breast with grilled courgettes, carrot mash, confit potato and thyme jus.  For dessert there will be tarte tatin accompanied by Roquefort ice cream, with coffee and petits fours to finish.

 

Tickets are priced at £49.95 per person if booking online or £51.95 per person offline.

 

For those who wish to make the most of sampling the delicious wines on offer, Wyboston Lakes Hotel has an inclusive overnight package available which includes two tickets, a double en suite bedroom and breakfast for two from £149.90 per couple.
