'Rock Around the Clock' at Wyboston Lakes

If you miss the days of bobby socks and blue suede shoes, why not head over to Wyboston Lakes for a night of 50s and 60s rock 'n' roll on Friday, 11th November?

The centre near St Neots is celebrating the sounds and styles of the 50s and 60s with live music, a supporting disco and a delicious themed two-course American diner menu.

Tribute act Déjà Vu will take guests back to the golden age of rock 'n' roll with hits from the 50s and 60s as well as popular songs right up to the present day.  Guests will enjoy old and new favourites including 'Great Balls of Fire', 'Twist and Shout' and 'Locomotion'.

A delicious two course American diner menu will be served featuring classic stateside favourites, from pulled barbecue pork, Californian burger with avocado, lettuce and tomato to a bowl of chilli topped with melted jack cheese.  Accompaniments include creamed potatoes, market vegetables, fries and Cobb salad.  Those with a sweet tooth won't be disappointed as deep dish cinnamon apple pie, New York cheesecake and chocolate banana sundae are some on the desserts on offer.

The evening begins at 7.30pm and you will be 'rocking around the clock' to a supporting disco until 1.00am.  Tickets which are non-refundable and available for over 18s only, cost £32.00 per person (£30.00 if booked online).  If you want to enjoy the full experience, take advantage of the overnight offer which includes two tickets for the act, a double ensuite room and full English or continental breakfast for two from just £110.00.

"We're not all old enough to remember the 50s and 60s but we're all nostalgic for those golden days and everyone loves the music and clothes from that era," said Alasdair Swan, General Manager of Wyboston Lakes Hotel.  "Our 50s and 60s tribute night will be tremendous fun and we're sure our guests will love the American diner themed menu our chefs have prepared for them."
